Being new to DCHS, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.  My name is Matt Foss.  I live in Silver Lake, MN with my wife Emily, and our 3 children: Bree (10 years), Taylor (4 years), and Lincoln (1 year).  Additionally, we have an ivory lab named Moser.  In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with family and friends as well as working in my shop on anything with an engine.

As the Dean of Students, it is my goal to get to know each student and help direct their education in a way that is individualized to them.  All students need to be able to understand their potential and realize that there is a life after high school.

One of my greatest attributes is my ability to remain positive throughout any circumstance. I am hoping that as Dean of Students I am able to demonstrate this ability and show students, as well as staff,  that no matter the situation there is always something to build from.  Throughout life people are thrown curveballs, we need to be able to adapt and overcome as these curve balls start rolling.  Who we are during times of adversity determines who we will be during times of success.  I am a firm believer in this quote and hope to impart my knowledge onto the students at DCHS to let them be as successful as possible.
